A banda Ki\u2019MBANDA apresenta nesta sexta-feira (13 de mar\u00e7o), em todos os aplicativos de m\u00fasica<\/a> pela Mar\u00e3 M\u00fasica, o \u00e1lbum \u201cAo Vivo no Showlivre\u201d, um registro cru, intenso e simb\u00f3lico que captura a ess\u00eancia do grupo em sua forma mais aut\u00eantica. Gravado ao vivo, sem filtros ou artif\u00edcios, o trabalho reafirma a identidade da banda como um movimento de resist\u00eancia cultural, espiritual e est\u00e9tica dentro do rock nacional.<\/p>\n

O lan\u00e7amento funciona como um manifesto sonoro. \u201cEstamos mostrando nossa ess\u00eancia, ao vivo, crus, sem filtros, sem cortes. Quem quiser conhecer a Ki\u2019MBANDA, esse ser\u00e1 o melhor momento, estamos na nossa maturidade musical\u201d, afirma a banda, que tamb\u00e9m demonstra grande expectativa pela recep\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00fablico em todo o pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Um dos destaques do repert\u00f3rio \u00e9 a faixa in\u00e9dita \u201cRespeita os Nego\u2026 V\u00e9io!\u201d, apresentada como um grito contra o racismo estrutural e o etarismo. \u201cMais do que uma m\u00fasica, \u2018Respeita os Nego\u2026 V\u00e9io!\u2019 \u00e9 um manifesto de afro-preserva\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela fala sobre o racismo estrutural e o preconceito de idade como duas faces da mesma moeda que tenta invisibilizar o trabalho e a sabedoria das pessoas pretas mais velhas\u201d, explicam os integrantes. \u201cN\u00f3s somos uma banda formada por m\u00fasicos acima dos 40 anos, e essa can\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m fala sobre o quanto lutamos e ainda somos inviabilizados por n\u00e3o sermos uma banda de novinhos.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musicalmente, a faixa sintetiza o conceito de afro rock defendido pelo grupo. \u201cCom forte influ\u00eancia de Jo\u00e3o Bosco, os riffs iniciais t\u00eam um qu\u00ea de \u2018Tiro de Miseric\u00f3rdia\u2019, com uma levada funkeada e uma disputa entre voz e guitarra que \u00e0s vezes parecem duelar em tempos opostos, e no fim se encontram na exalta\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 o afro rock na pura ess\u00eancia\u201d, definem.<\/p>\n

A composi\u00e7\u00e3o nasceu de uma urg\u00eancia pessoal e coletiva. \u201cEla surgiu da necessidade de dar uma resposta a produtores e espa\u00e7os que se guiam pelo etarismo e n\u00e3o abrem portas para bandas maduras. \u00c9 um recado para quem valoriza apenas a imagem e n\u00e3o a experi\u00eancia\u201d, contam. A m\u00fasica foi constru\u00edda a partir de um riff apresentado por Yves Remont e da letra escrita por KRISX em uma tarde chuvosa de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

O vocalista tamb\u00e9m trouxe sua viv\u00eancia direta para a letra. \u201cA inspira\u00e7\u00e3o veio de situa\u00e7\u00f5es reais, como quando tivemos a chance negada de tocar em um festival por sermos uma banda preta e com m\u00e9dia de idade acima dos 40 anos. Mas somos n\u00f3s que carregamos a sabedoria que todos copiam\u201d, afirma, destacando o ativismo social presente na obra.<\/p>\n

A grava\u00e7\u00e3o da session marcou momentos in\u00e9ditos na trajet\u00f3ria da Ki\u2019MBANDA, incluindo a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de backing vocals, Nissa e Mayra Costa, que passaram a integrar a sonoridade da banda em ocasi\u00f5es especiais. Al\u00e9m disso, o registro representa a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um desejo antigo do vocalista. \u201cS\u00e3o mais de 15 anos tentando realizar esse evento com o Showlivre\u2026 enfim, cheguei como um nego v\u00e9io, mas cheguei\u201d, relembra KRISX.<\/p>\n

Fundada em 2019, a Ki\u2019MBANDA \u00e9 formada exclusivamente por m\u00fasicos pretos e utiliza o rock como ferramenta para resgatar hist\u00f3rias, espiritualidades e refer\u00eancias africanas, combatendo o apagamento da presen\u00e7a negra no g\u00eanero. O grupo nasceu da uni\u00e3o entre KRISX, Rog\u00e9rio Lu\u00eds (Menudo) e Yves Remont, com a proposta de unir a sofistica\u00e7\u00e3o do afro-samba ao peso do rock. Desde ent\u00e3o, consolidou-se como uma voz ativa no debate racial e cultural, especialmente ap\u00f3s lan\u00e7amentos como \u201cAfronte\u201d (2024), \u201cFerro e Fogo\u201d (2024) e \u201cSankofa\u201d.<\/p>\n

Com influ\u00eancias que v\u00e3o de Living Colour a Gilberto Gil, a banda defende a ideia de que \u201co rock \u00e9 preto\u201d, ressaltando suas ra\u00edzes no blues, gospel e R&B. Em palco, suas apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es incorporam percuss\u00f5es de terreiro e elementos espirituais, transformando o show em uma experi\u00eancia ritual\u00edstica e pol\u00edtica ao mesmo tempo.
\nTodos os integrantes acumulam mais de duas d\u00e9cadas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o na cena paulistana. \u201cKRISX reuniu parceiros musicais de longa data para formar a Ki\u2019MBANDA\u201d, explicam, destacando a trajet\u00f3ria coletiva que sustenta o projeto.<\/p>\n
